Fred Kimmelstiel creates functional pottery including a selection of outstanding pieces for the home featuring fruit and salad bowls, serving plates, coffee mugs, tea cups, pitchers and vases. His reduction-fired ceramics are made with intricate carvings and/or glazed in a distinctive style for maximal effect.
Fred's work has been featured at The Westchester Art Workshop, The Neuberger Museum Shop, and The Jewish Museum Shop. He has been recognized at gallery exhibitions and craft shows such as: The Flat Iron Gallery, Peekskill, the Strictly Functional National Juried Exhibition, The JCC in Manhattan and The Bet Am Shalom Judaica Crafts Show in White Plains, NY. One of his stoneware pitchers was among those featured in Lark Books' 500 Pitchers collection.
